The design trend in today’s outdoor areas is to have above-ground garden beds. They can be permanent in-built beds, or they can be movable planters.

Most trough and cube planters available on the market are relatively small because their weight and lack of structural reinforcement limit their size.

However, Quatro’s range of trough and cube planters breaks through the size-weight barrier because they’re made out of strong and lightweight GRC.

Quatro has an extensive range of planters up to 2.4 metres long. Our troughs and cubes incorporate the simple, clean elements of contemporary home and garden design.

They are ideal for courtyards, deck areas, patios, balconies and rooftop gardens, as well as for commercial areas such as in plazas and streetscapes. Most of the Quatro troughs and cubes have a moulded, 50mm wide top edge.

Planter-Box Feet Options

Most Quatro planter boxes have 5mm high strip feet that raise the planter base off the ground to allow for easy drainage. However, many planters also have additional feet options to raise the planter box even higher – up to 75mm.

The feet are cast into the base of the planter and inset from the bottom edge (50-75mm depending on the size of the container). Typically they are 75mm square (100mm square for Civic planters), and taper down to the required height (25mm, 50mm, 75mm). The Trough and Square/Cube product tables show the feet options available.
